Just really like the older motels that have character .

This was my second time staying there for the Decker Creek half marathon. Was a little disappointed that there was no discount for the people staying there for the race. I know the other two hotels closes to the race gave a discount.

Grad of WVU and brought my daughter to tour the University. Have been staying at the Hotel Morgan for many years. Love this old hotel, and all it's charm. Perfect location to everything you want to see and do, and can't beat the price. Room very clean and comfortable, and loved looking out our window to see the river! :) LETS GO...MOUNTAINEERS!!

Parking is the only thing that worries me a bit when coming in after dark.

Location, restaurant, friendly staff, good value for the money..

It was pretty dark inside the hotel and in the room. The outside windows were dirty and there were heavy curtains. Everything was clean, but it felt a bit closed in.

The staff were eager to be helpful and friendly.

The hotel is a bit shabby looking, like an over the hill actress. The continental breakfast was nearly inedible

Good location for Morgantown, near an alley that, restaurants and bars galore, and has an outdoor deck. Also, to WVU Hospital-area is quiet.

Nicely renovated hotel with beautiful views and magnificent location in three downtown locations. Nice hot breakfasts and good food available. Gorgeous interior and well-appointed rooms. Very helpful and excellent staff onsite. Private parking close by the property provided.

Valet parking required, but it was not available on our arrival. We had to self-park and walk back to the hotel late at night. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but had a lingering faint smell of smoke. The bed was comfortable and the shower great. The staff were nice, and the ballroom looked beautiful. Arriving before dark is a must. The stay was decent despite the parking and room issues.

stylish ambiance but minor inconveniences

The decor and architecture were excellent with a unique atmosphere . The staff provided excellent service and really stood out in their friendliness and willingness to help.

The small parking area made finding a spot challenging.

The kids loved the spacious room with comfy beds, and the location was perfect for grabbing pizza nearby. The breakfast selection was tasty, and the staff was always ready to help us.

My kids wished for a pool for some extra fun.

Charming Stay with Lovely Views

The clean and spacious suite offered fine views of the river. Enjoyed dining at nearby establishments with a vibrant atmosphere. Don't miss the sunset from the nearby trails-it's amazing! Parking is convenient, just be mindful of the lot rules.

The hotel's historic charm definitely stands out. Enjoyed the comfy bed and spacious layout of the room, alongside nice-smelling toiletries. Housekeeping could improve, as I found dust bunnies and hair in the shower. A request to change room configurations was puzzling and less than reassuring. The location is great, but some attention to cleanliness and service details would enhance the experience.

Charming, Charming, Charming

I was swept away by the fine vintage decor that was everywhere, from the gorgeous wood paneling to the beautiful chandeliers. The location was amazing, just a short stroll to good eateries where I indulged in some delicious local bites. Plus, the cozy atmosphere.

Oh, the lobby was a sight to behold! The vintage wood and sparkling chandeliers gave me the warm fuzzies, reminiscent of elegant gatherings from yesteryears. Plus, the wide halls made it easy for me to navigate comfortably.

More accessible seating in common areas, please.

I appreciated the charming decor and spacious common areas, easy for me to navigate the hotel comfortably. The beautifully renovated lobby showcased lovely wood and marble finishes.

We loved the great location, just a few blocks to a local coffee shop and some unique shops. The king room was spacious with a comfy bed and stylish tile floors in the bathroom. The staff was super friendly. Plus, they have a nice 24-hour gym which came in handy!
